Post Master's Program in Nursing Education

Thank you for your interest in the Joseph and Nancy Fail School of Nursing at William Carey University. The Post Master’s Program Option is designed for Master’s prepared nurses who are seeking preparation as a nurse educator or in a specialty focus area currently being offered in our MSN program. Many of our specialty tracks prepare students using criteria associated with a certification exam. The William Carey University Post-Master’s Program Options are designed to fit the lifestyle of busy nurses. Graduate study may be done on either a full-time or part-time basis and is offered on the Tradition and Hattiesburg campuses. The curriculum is designed to permit a flexible learning environment presented in a hybrid format with three face-to-face meetings per trimester. Upon faculty approval practicum may be scheduled in a facility and agency near the student’s home community. The faculty in the Post Master’s Program look forward to helping you meet your educational needs.

See the 2014-2015 William Carey University Catalog for further information regarding the specialty focus areas.
