The memorial to the baptism of Krishna-Pal, the first Hindu convert. It took place at Serampore on the banks of the River Hooghly in December 1800.

This is not the original site as it was washed away in the Great Inundation (along with Ward's house, and part of William Carey's house) but is as close as possible to where the site used to be.
