The printing works behind the house at George Street, Riddings. The sign 'Ellis and Sons, Printers' can be seen on the door.

When grandmother Ellis died, the house was bought by a local man to be his home after he was married. The mariage never happened and the house was left untouched for many decades. This was very unfortunate for the owner, but fortunate for me, as it allowed me to see it almost unchanged from my grandfather's time.
