The Carey Center acknowledges The Library Interiors Group, Inc. (New Orleans, Orlando, Tampa, Boca Raton, Birmingham), which—under the advice and direction of Chris Pizzuto—outfitted the interior of the lobby, office area, vault, reading room, and both galleries.
The Library Interiors Group, Inc. begin the unpacking and installation of cases for the galleries.
The Carey Center co-directors discuss furnishings delivered to Donnell Hall.
The museum case on the left is in Gallery B.
All furnishings in the Reading Room feature an engraved image and signature of Carey, of which both originals are held in the research collection. The technology used in achieving this result was the first of its kind for The Library Interiors Group, Inc. in the United States.
