The Study Travel and Excavation Program (STEP) offers intensive, student oriented study travel in Biblical Lands, sometimes coupled with participation in the archaeological excavation of a Biblical site. Originally named the "Summer Travel and Excavation Program," STEP has not included an excavation experience since 2000. Recent programs have featured small professor-led groups in various Mediterranean lands and at various times during the academic year (thus the change in name).

FEATURING: Venice, Pisa, Florence, Pompeii, and Rome . . . in other words, romantic cities, super-famous buildings and art, ancient ruins covered by volcanic eruptions, classical ruins, early Christian remains, catacombs, fountains, calzone, panini, pasta, popes, and gelato! 2 three-hour credit classes available in conjunction with the program as part of the Spring 2010 trimester at William Carey University
