Hattiesburg, MS-           #16 William Carey University women's soccer team blasted out 33 shots and scored five goals as they steam rolled the Lady Blazers from Belhaven 5-0 in GCAC play.

Carey limited the visitors to only 6 shots in the contest in route to their 15th victory of the season.

 

Carey Senior Danielle Princiotta scored both first half goals to give a Carey a 2-0 lead at the break.

 

The Lady Crusaders added 3 more goals in the second half. Shannon Steffen, Natalie Nino, and Molly Jo Herrin each scored goals and Steffen, Shayna Turner and Jessica Stuart each notched an assist in the half.

 

The Carey defense was outstanding again as they worked their 11^th shut out of the season.

 

With the win Carey improves to 15-0 on the season and 6-0 in GCAC play
