8.16.07 Exhibition Games and Alumni Game Prepares Crusaders For Tough Season

The Crusaders travel to the University of Montevallo in Alabama on Friday for their first pre-season exhibition game.  It will be a tough game against a strong N.C.A.A. D-2 program. "This game will give us an idea of where we are physically and organizationally as well as getting some early experience of a long road trip", explained coach Nigel Boulton. The team will return home in the early hours of Saturday morning (18th) and will play the Alumni game that night kick-off at 7.00pm. On Tuesday the Crusaders complete their pre-season games against Crichton College, Memphis in a 5.00pm clash on campus here in Hattiesburg.
