5.19.08 Plenty to prepare for during summer
Although school is out for the summer there is plenty to keep everyone busy preparing for the players return in August. New recruits are being admitted, fields are being prepared, fundraising continues, and our new website has been launched.
In the weeks ahead we will be bringing you news of all the new recruits coming in and announcing the 2008 schedule. Stay informed by regularly visiting our site.
Field maintenance is under way and preparations are in hand to produce a great playing surface for the new season. We were able to purchase a motorized 'Mule' for the soccer program last month and it will be in regular use on the field as we top dress, over-seed, roll and fertilize. We have also purchased a ride-on reel mower for exclusive use on the soccer fields.
Returning players will prepare for pre-season by completing a summer workout program and the coaching staff are busy watching game tape and preparing film for players to view and learn from.
Pre-season games are being arranged and everything is underway to give the Crusaders their best chance of success and moving the program forward again.
