Mission

The Mission of the School of Education at William Carey

University is to develop caring, reflective decision

makers in the 21st Century Schoolhouse.

Learners are encouraged to reach their highest potential as

reflective decision makers nurtured through a strong liberal arts

curriculum, through content instruction in specialty areas, through

pedagogical studies, and through significant preservice

experiences that prepare effective teachers for an increasingly

diverse and technological world.
