Transitions for Transfer Students

For some transfer students, making the transition of going from one college to another is easier than it is for other transfer students. Although you are experienced in residence hall living, the rules and expectations of the WCU campus will probably not be the same…similar, maybe, but not the same.

Under the web page Residence Life Housing Standards, you will find a list of the William Carey University residence life standards. Review this list and familiarize yourself with it. All resident students will be given a copy to sign at the first dorm meeting, and it will be placed in your file in the residence life office.

You will be glad you chose William Carey University to be your collegiate home. You will receive an incredible education, and you will make life long friends. You will have opportunities to grow spiritually and personally by getting involved in campus activities. We may seem small; we may be small, but we are big on giving you the best college years of your life.

We welcome you into the William Carey family!
