Housing Application Process
1. Complete housing application
- Application may be downloaded here or requested from the Office of Residence Life at 601.318.6102
- Please indicate on application which dorm you would prefer
2. Pay housing deposit
- This deposit should be included with your application to insure placement.
- Deposit for Bass, Bryant, Polk, Ross: $150
- Deposit for Braswell, Byrd, Johnson: $200
- The Residence Life Office can accept cash or check, but a credit card payment must be completed in the business office. In this special case, please notify Residence Life that you have done so.
- Your application will not be processed until a deposit is received
3. Mail to the following address

You may send the application and deposit along with the admissions packet, if you so choose.
You can also choose to come to the office to pay in person.
Each student under the age of 21 and whose permanent residence is over 50 miles away is required to live on campus.
Students who are disabled should inform the housing director, in addition to the director of Student Support Services at 601.318.6211.
Notification of room assignment
All students will be sent a letter notifying them of their room assignments by July 15. This letter will include the building, room, and roommate, and there will also be a print out of important information pertaining to housing.
Cancelling the housing assignment
If you decide not to attend WCU or will not require housing, please contact the Residence Life Office as soon as possible. If you have already made a housing deposit, you will need to fill out the Housing Deposit/Refund Request form.
