Message from the Dean

The School of Education, its students and faculty, welcomes the national and state visiting teams from the Mississippi Department of Education and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) for our campus visit.

The accreditation process is an important time of evaluation, reflection and visioning.  The School of Education’s history of nearly 100 years is built on a strong foundation of service to our communities, our nation, and the world.

Welcome to the NCATE team whose partnership with William Carey University allows the School of Education to improve candidates’ knowledge, dispositions, and performances thus resulting in the enhancement of professional learning communities and improved student learning throughout the P-12 school system.
