Faculty in the School of Nursing – 4 Positions

William Carey University invites applications for four new faculty positions in the School of Nursing.

Duties:  Nursing faculty teach in undergraduate and, depending on qualifications, graduate programs on 12-month contracts, with one flex term per year. The university operates on a trimester system. The nursing program operates on three campuses – Hattiesburg, Mississippi; Tradition, Mississippi (gulf coast); and New Orleans, Louisiana.

Position 1 is at the Hattiesburg campus (main campus) and requires clinical background in critical care/adult health nursing.

Position 2 is at the Tradition (gulf coast) campus and requires clinical background in critical care/adult health nursing.

Position 3 is at the New Orleans campus and requires clinical background in critical care/adult health nursing.

Position 4 is at the New Orleans campus and requires clinical background in maternal/child nursing.

Qualifications:  Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree in nursing and a Ph.D. in nursing or a closely related field; candidates with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice or a Master of Nursing are also encouraged to apply with the appropriate clinical background as indicated above.
