The Joseph and Nancy Fail School of Nursing at William Carey University in New Orleans, invites applications for a maternal-child nursing faculty position.
Ideal candidates will have a Master’s degree in Nursing and a Ph.D. in Nursing or a related discipline. Candidates with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice or a Master of Nursing are also encouraged to apply if their clinical area of expertise is in adult health. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, the ability to interact effectively with faculty and students, and be willing to work full time.
School of Nursing faculty work on a 12 month contract with a flex term for lecture development and scholarship activities. Faculty have office hours each week and a teaching load in 3 of the 4 terms, advise students, and contribute to committee work at the school and the university level.
