Nick Griffis, MS, Instructor of Anatomy, Supervisor of the Anatomical Lab
Mr. Griffis graduated with a Master of Science Degree with an emphasis in Microbiology from the University of Southern Mississippi in1992. Following graduation, Mr. Griffis joined the faculty of USM where he has remained for 17 years. From 1993 – 2007, he served as an adjunct instructor in the Biology Department as well as the Assistant Director of Science Safety and Biological Safety Officer. In 2007, he became a full-time instructor in the Biology Department where he taught Anatomy and Physiology and Undergraduate Biology. Beginning in 2009, Mr. Griffis took on the positions of Instructor and A&P Lab Coordinator. Along with his current position at USM, Mr. Griffis teaches A&P I and II at Pearl River Community College. Mr. Griffis will join the WCU-COM as an Instructor of Anatomy and Supervisor of the Anatomical Lab in 2010.
