Pearl G Myers, MS, MD, Associate Professor of Anatomy, Pathology, and Medicine

Dr. Myers' completed her pediatric pathology fellowship in 2006 at the University of South Florida School of Medicine/Tampa General Hospital. Her interest lies in pediatric autopsies and she has written journal articles pertaining to some of her most interesting autopsy cases. After fellowship, she decided to make her career in medical education.  She began her career teaching in a caribbean medical school where she taught pathology and histology. She also obtained a medical license in the caribbean and performed a few pediatric autopsies for the local hospital. She has also served as the caribbean medical school's faculty president and chair of the school's discipline committee. She will join the COM faculty in 2010 as as Associate Professor of Anatomy, Pathology, and Medicine.
