Trimester System

Unlike many American colleges and universities, Carey’s academic year revolves around a trimester calendar. Each year is divided into three trimesters; each trimester lasts three months. They are divided as follows: ten weeks of classes, one week of final exams, and another one-week long break, known to our students as trimester breaks. The beginning of a new trimester starts at the end of a trimester break.
