Post Master’s Program Option in Nursing Education at William Carey University

“Expect Great Things from God; Attempt Great Things for God”

Thank you for your interest in the Joseph and Nancy Fail School of Nursing at William Carey University. The Post Master’s Program Option in Nursing Education is designed for Master’s prepared nurses who are seeking preparation as a nurse educator with an adult health focus. This program will prepare the nurse to sit for the Certified Nurse Educator Exam upon meeting the educational practice requirement.

William Carey University offers a Post-Master’s Program Option that fits the lifestyle of busy nurses.  Graduate study may be done on either a full-time or part-time basis.  The curriculum is online and designed to permit a flexible learning environment. A schedule can be tailored to meet both the curriculum and the student’s needs. The minimum course load for full-time status in the Post Master’s Program Option would follow the program of study outlined below during a trimester.

The on-line modules include links to materials and threaded discussions with both classmates and faculty.  Practicum experiences may be scheduled in a facility and agency near the student’s home community following faculty approval.

The faculty in the Post Master’s Program Option look forward to helping you meet your educational needs.  Let us know how we can help you.
