Program Advantages

The Master of Science degree in Nursing is designed for registered nurses who are seeking preparation as a nurse educator with an adult health focus. The curriculum is web-enhanced and designed to permit the working professional nurse to seek a degree in higher education.

Classes meet on an every other Friday/Saturday schedule with five face-to-face class meetings with faculty and classmates each term.  In addition the asynchronous web enhanced supplement offers on-line modules, links, and threaded discussions with both classmates and faculty.  Clinical or practicum experiences may be scheduled in a facility and agency near the student’s home community following faculty approval.
