MSN Admission Requirements

Provide official transcript(s) of all college work completed to date, two letters of reference, an application, and a non-refundable application fee ($25).

Graduate Admission Application form

In addition to the general admission requirements to the graduate school, each applicant to the graduate program of the Joseph and Nancy Fail School of Nursing must:

1. Hold a baccalaureate degree from a nationally-accredited school of nursing.
2. Submit a statement of professional goals.
3. Submit a current resume.
4. Hold a current unencumbered Mississippi registered nurse (RN) license.
5. Have an overall undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or a GPA of 2.5 on the last 30 undergraduate hours.
6. Submit scores from the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).
