HRP students must earn at least the last 30 credit hours of the B.S. degree at William Carey. Typically, students need 30 to 45 credit hours to complete this degree; however, each student must be advised on an individual basis, and more than 45 credit hours may be required in certain situations.
An emphasis in Medical Technology is available with this degree; this emphasis involves a “3+1” program, with the final 36 hours of the B.S. degree being obtained from the Baptist Medical Center School of Medical Technology in Jackson, MS. Students completing this emphasis are eligible to sit for national certification exams in Medical Technology.
