Ensembles
William Carey Chorale
The Chorale is the primary choral organization at William Carey, with a large enrollment each trimester representing almost every area of study at the college. A variety of literature--sacred and secular--including major oratorios, traditional classical octavos, spirituals, and contemporary songs, is performed throughout the year. Admission is open by audition to all students, and scholarship aid is available.

Carpenter's Wood
Carpenter's Wood is an auditioned Contemporary Christian ensemble comprised of ten highly skilled vocalists. During the Spring Trimester, the group tours in and out of the state representing the college at various churches and in other concert venues.
In the spring of 2004 this group took a mission trip to South Korea, and future mission trips are planned. Mrs. Kathy Vail is Sponsor for this group.
William Carey Guitar Ensemble

This auditioned organization has won awards at competitions, performs throughout the South, and is directed by WCU guitar instructor Carlos Castilla.

Piano Ensemble
This ensemble performs works for multiple performers on two or more pianos, often in conjunction with other instruments. Grand performances are given in December and April.

Instrumental Chamber Ensemble
The instrumental ensemble has increased in size and scope of performance in the past two years. From Classic instrumental compositions to popular numbers, this ensemble has risen to new heights under the direction of Wes Cameron.
This performance organization is open to the university population though audition with each member receiving a scholarship.
Opera Workshop
From One-Act works to full-scale Broadway musicals and Gilbert and Sullivan operettas, the Opera Workshop affords music students major performance roles on-stage.
